		<description>well he made that look very easy on the video. after 40 mins kneading mine did not look smooth like his did, in fact it was still very sticky. as I was using our own hens eggs I wondered if there had been too much liquid. I mixed up more dry mix and added more. A further 15 mins kneading and it still didnt look right. i have set it to prove anyway or I will be up baking at midnight.</description>

Years ago I searched high and low for stollen recipes with marzipan for a friend (before internet times).  Now I see them everywhere, even down here in Australia.

Have you tried making marzipan in the Thermomix?

Why do you use bicarb with the dried fruit - commonly used with boiled fruit cakes too. ??

I use ice cubes instead of water in the oven for steam for breads etc - less mess and less likely to splash onto what you&#039;re baking.</description>
