Dear Madeline,

Inundated with some wonderful plums and came across this recipe, but don't own a Thermomix. Do have a small 'ice-cream' maker that works well.

Do you have a non-Thermomix alternative? I guess what I am asking is if you make this without a Thermomix, do you cook the plums with sugar and cinammon and then puree it, etc. or process frozen un-cooked ones to a puree with the sugar in a food processor and then whisk in the egg white?

Thanks,
Eleanor

Thermomix sorbet has a huge "WOW factor" -- especially when prepared in front of your guests. I used this basic recipe/technique last week using frozen cantaloupe from the summer. The texture is exquisite and oh my.. it is so very y-u-m-m-y!

This is a very interesting recipe for Thermomix, I will definitely try it. Red plums are in season now in Spain!

Cheers!
