Thanks again
Another great recipe. I baked and brought this cake into the office and it only lasted 5 minutes and was a great success. Thoroughly delicious.

Hi
I am wondering what the need is for the cling film - is it to stop the mixture leaking?

I was a bit worried about putting cling film in the oven and unfortunately within 10 minutes it melted into the mixture :( Maybe the supermarket cling film isn't good for use in the oven?

Second attempt, I didn't use anything to line the dish. After the base had rested for 30 minutes I glazed it with an egg and baked for 5 minutes. It is now in the oven, fingers crossed!

Absolutely sublime. Made it for my old nfd chef friend and parents, they loved it. The honeycomb was so much easier than i thought and My dad said it made him very nostalgic! Thank you!

I too agree, if it ain't baked, it ain't cheesecake! And this is a phenomenal one. Made this last weekend with much success. Honeycomb can be a devil to get right, as many bubbles as you can with plenty of agitation but not too much or you knock the life out of it. Really enjoyed this one Madalene, thanks.

I discovered marscapone cheesecake by accident - had run out of cream cheese. Much preferred it too (Italian food lover at heart). Wow - haven't made honeycomb since I was 10, have to do it again after seeing this! Homemade crunchie bars?

This is an outstanding recipe for a royal cheesecake; did I mention I am not that crazy about the one with Philly cream cheese? This is the one I would rather go for. A small slice, please.
